Diagnosis - Follicular Lymphoma, Grade 3

Today we visited our family practitioner to have a follow-up chest x-ray done and we were given the result of the biopsy taken Monday - Follicular Lymphoma, Grade 3. This is a very common strain of cancer and there are medications and chemotherapy that can beat this strain. We continue to remain optimistic about the outcome. Thank you again for your prayers and support.

I'm somewhat relieved about this diagnosis. Our prayers are with you all. I just called Grandma Mangum to tell her there was an update. She said, "we'll have to pray even harder". She is so sweet. We are very hopeful and love you very much.

Love,
Aunt Phyllis

That is good news. Cancer is scary, but it can be beatable! Keep enjoying the beautiful Utah fall.

We are happy to hear that some good news (or rather not as bad as it could have been) came from your biopsy Greg. We pray for you daily in our family and personal prayers. Paden doesn't even need prompted to pray for you, he just asks for you to be blessed on his own. We appreciate you being willing to let us in on the details by having this blog. Thank you. We love both of you. Love, Brian and Jessica

This is really interesting, and we're glad you're keeping us up-dated! It's nice that you allowed us to be a part of all you're going through, 'cause it's wonderful that we're all able to be praying for you. Lots of prayers really DO help, you know!!

It's good that you have the great positive outlook you have now, and we really love the way you interject your "humor". :) I'm sure sorry you have to be going through all this, but I guess this experience sure will keep you pulling together....and all the rest of us "pulling" WITH you! Lots of Love, Aunt Karen
